February 13, 20179 yr This is an important question for VRi MCP1 (original) users. The MCP Combo page lists settings for the Knobs for + and - rotation broken down into 2 groups A and B. For example, -- EFIS MINS knob MINS = { ["A SHOW"] = A172_EGTref_show , ["A +"] = A172_EGTref_inc , ["A ++"] = A172_EGTref_incfast , ["A -"] = A172_EGTref_dec , ["A --"] = A172_EGTref_decfast , ["PRESS"] = VRI_KNOB_MODE_toggle , ["B SHOW"] = Rudder_Trim_show , ["B +"] = Aileron_Trim_right , ["B ++"] = empty , ["B -"] = Aileron_Trim_left , ["B --"] = empty , } The B group settings are not used on the Combo MCP Boeing or Airbus panels and are redundant. I believe these were implemented before the multiple modes were implemented. I need to know whether they are still used on the MCP1. It would also be useful to understand how they are used and switched. I am calling on those with a long memory to help me. This feedback is important as I am in the process of removing these redundant legacy settings.
