Taxi Lights Way too Bright!

Hi a while back I bought Aerosoft LSPG and had really bad taxi lights... And then yesterday i bought FSDREAMTEAM Geneva which has the same issue... Does anyone know what is making them look so awful? I have attached Some images...

There are a couple of threads about this in the FSDT forum for Geneva, but no solutions offered. You might want to drop in at that forum and add your 2 cents.
