hi all, on some of my AI planes, they have no liverys, just plain boring colours! here is a pic showing what I mean:-I use Ultimate traffic, cheers for any help!Ianhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/137421.jpgp.s if this doesnt belong in this forum plz mve it to correct one:p

Hard to see the picture really. But anyway, I don't own UT but to my knowledge if there are AI aircraft which have a generic livery on them, that would basically mean, that, out of the box UT did not have these liveries created. It's up to you to find the liveries, most likely on the UT site or here at Avsim, download them and add the paint to the plane. Maybe someone with more knowledge of UT will chime in and answer this as well. Perhaps also it may be a good idea to go over to the UT support forums at Flight1. There support is second to none so you should get an in depth answer there too.

Jason CYOO - Formerly MYNN[br /]General Aviation Fan[br]P4 3,2Ghz, 1GB Ram, FX5900 128MB, XP SP2.[br /][br /]

You are correct Jason. In the UT application there is an option to choose to have planes that do not have a paint job replaced with ageneric paint job.If you don't want these planes to show just uncheck the box andrecompile. (I'm not for sure where the option is I thinkit's under the compile area.) Can't believe I can't remember it...I currently have it uninstalled. If you want the planes to have the correct paint you will have tohunt down the master paint list in UT and start finding paints forthe ones that do not have a paint job. Oh there's a lot of them too.Mostly small airlines.

how do i go about finding which planes i need to install a paint job for then? and any tips on going about it?any help again pls :(cheers Ian

Here's a similar question at the UT forum.http://ultimatetraffic.flight1.net/forums/...p?TID=1557&PN=1At the UT forum you can find a lot of info especially from John Goodwin. He's a great help over there. Here's his site for the steps of installing paints and stuff. http://www.john-goodwin.pwp.blueyonder.co....ssignframe.htmlI see that they are polling for UT ver2. I wish they could use bettermodels, but I know that will never happen. So I really hope they vastlyimprove the way users can import fp's and models and paints. Right now its too much of an hassle to do.
