Low visibility issue

Featured Replies

Hi,I noticed that I can't obtain the lowest visibility available in FS2004 customizable weather menu. That is, if I set visibility like 1/8 or 1/16 mile I have no difference than it was 2 or 3 miles set. Is this an FS known issue, or my video card problem?Video card Radeon 9600proNO FSUIPC installed!Francesco

No problem with low vis settings here, the shots below are without adjusting the clouds at all, only adjusting the visibility, the first post is with 1 mile, and the second is 1/4 mile and you can see the approach lights at 12 oclock but the runway isn't in sight yet.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/138487.jpghttp://forums.flightsim.com/dc/dcboard.php...ing_type=searchhttp://forums.flightsim.com/dc/dcboard.php...ing_type=searchhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/138488.jpgCouple more, these are all the default fS2004 with no weather add-ons.1/2 mile vishttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/138492.jpg1/4 mile vishttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/138491.jpg

Francesco,Do you run FSUIPC? If yes you may have set visibility limits in FSUIPC that might override your custom FS9 settings.Ulf B
