AS 2016 Problems With P3D V3.0

I purchased Active Sky 2016 for P3D today. Install went fine until I launched the simulator and discovered the following error messages (in order):

"An error message was received from ASConnect: date, time etc... Incompatible P3D version. This version of as_connect is designed to be used with versions 3.2.3 - 3.4"

"AS16 cannot control ambient weather parameters correctly, thus it cannot function properly at this point and will shut down. Please make sure you have proper rights/ownership of the program files 86 folder and have trusted/excluded AS16 from your security software, as well as the simulator`s as_srv folder and included .dll modules"

 

I understand that my version of P3D is out of date for the latest edition but is there some way around this? I plan on upgrading my P3D eventually but I currently don`t have time so I have to make do for the moment.

I'm afraid there is no way to use AS2016 with P3D v3.0, because newer P3D versions handle visibility differently than older ones. I recommend updating P3D to the newest version - it provides numerous improvements.
