Using nVidia HDMI output

Featured Replies

I've followed the instructions on NVidia's website to connect the HDMI output on my GTX 560 Ti card to the HDMI input on my monitor.  The picture quality is significantly worse than using the standard VGA connection which is very disappointing as I have read that HDMI is so much better than VGA.

Has anyone else had the same experience as me?  Many thanks for any comments.

Yes! I upgraded to a Nvidia GTX 1050 and now connect via HDMI and found the scenery seems to glow and pulsate fro time to time and I have shimmering that is very distracting. I use a 40' HDTV so now I am looking into a 32' monitor hoping for better results.

Many thanks for your reply.  Sorry to hear you have problems as well.  Just FYI I am using a 32" HDTV.
