In FSX, one could show or hide the brakes as well as zoom by changing some numbers in the cfg file.

 

I now run Prepar3D 3.4 and would like to see what the zoom is, no text appears. I want to see the zoom level (especially out-side views at 1.0 )

 

Probably a question I should be asking in the P3d forum but it occurred to me someone here may know the answer.

Pete , in P3D Menu>Settings>General>Information Text  look there and tick what you want , Show Notification Text MUST be ticked..
