If Paul's recommendation doesn't help then check your video card installation. I've noted this problem is usually reported soon after a new video card driver is released. I had exactly the same problem and it occurred soon after installing new video card drivers. I manually reinstalled the drivers and that fixed my problem. Goto your Device Manager>Display Adaptors and Update Drivers. Do not allow the wizard to automatically find newer drivers. Browse to the INF file located in the unzipped video card driver folder.Jim
