Hi Folks! The Frecce Tricolori Aermacchi MB339 is really excellent! Very detailed VC. Very satisfying flight model (not too sensitive, so you can actually fly the thing rather than chasing it around the sky). And best of all, superb frame rates! I'm getting only 2-3fps drop over default (or RealAir) planes, so that means (for my system) 28 fps with two layers of clouds!You can try before you buy too, which takes the risk out of the purchase.Anyone else tried it?Cheers,N.

When they FINALLY get around to updating the F-104, I will consider it. I love that plane but the vr gauge refresh rate is the worst Ive ever seen and its way past overdue to be fixed.Yes I ran the 6 minute demo and all I can say is Im surprised anyone in the real world uses it for stunt flying. Its way underpowered and can barely get out of its way. But yes, the graphics look great.

Jimjam,if you start with about 60% fuel in the center tank, nothing else, you have enough power to do whaterever you like.I set it up for a display flight tonight at KILG and tried some of Dudley Henriques movements (from the manual). Believe me, it's very fun and educational, you really have to concentrate.And you need those fluit gauges too! I can't think of any other add-on aircraft that compare to this MB339 if you want a fast, smooth running and frameratefriendly jet trainer kind of aircraft ...Eagle

After learning to master the Starfighter,all other planes seem tame.This plane seemed more in the T-34 performance range. The lack of excessive power does make you pay more attention to energy management.
