June 26, 20178 yr Hi. I have noticed that artificial air traffic has excessively round and large navigation lights. At short or long distance, we see balls of light that flicker, instead of small rays of smaller size with great intensity. Prepar3dv4 has done a fabulous job in lighting and textures ... my question is: is there a possibility to recreate the illumination of artificial air traffic? It should not be very logical to have excellent realistic models, with lights so unreal. Thanks and if there is anyone who can explain how to do the transformation, I am the first to get into it! Hugs
June 26, 20178 yr X-Plane is the winner with their AI traffic lighting, Just wish P3D could do the same or maybe it can just no- one has done it where it starts really small from a long distance and as it gets closer it gets bigger. I think that its to do with the halo effect with the lights, It to me doesn't scale to well “Flying should not be a journey to the destination with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved Aircraft, but rather to skid sideways in a cloud of smoke down the runway, engines on fire, passengers screaming, physically worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! That was one hell of a Ride and we're on Schedule!”
