February 7, 200620 yr This is what I have:FSGenesis US LandclassUT USABEVLook at picture #1. This is how I want the landclass to appear, this is w/o UT, and look how nice the autogen matches the roads. Then look at the coastline. Aaargh! Then #2: This is with the landclass on top of UT. Super coastline, but the roads have no buildings beside it, and most of my autogen is gone :(Then #3 with landclass below UT: Nice coastilne, lots of roads, boring landclass, and where are the autogen? (:(Why can't I use FSGenesis landclass and UT coastline only (the config tool doesn't seem to make any diference)?http://9ls1.no/fs/lc/lc1.jpghttp://9ls1.no/fs/lc/lc2.jpghttp://9ls1.no/fs/lc/lc3.jpgEagle
February 7, 200620 yr Turn off residential roads in the UT setup utility. Your terrain will look a LOT less "mappy", and you'll get back a lot of your autogen. To get back even more, turn off the enhanced night lighting in the UT utility. At least turn off residential lighting. It makes a big difference. Jim
February 7, 200620 yr Hi,Have you followed the directions in UT for getting all these to work together? There are certain scenery files that must be placed in the correct order in your library. Yes, you can use these together, and yes, you can use all roads and all lighting with no problems. Keemp in mind that you will have less autogen.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg http://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg
February 7, 200620 yr Thanks a lot Jim and Jim :)>Have you followed the directions in UT for getting all these>to work together? I'm downloading the last version of UT now (1.1 GB), the old config tool didn't seem to work. >Keep in mind that you will have less autogen. This is excactly what I'm trying to avoid
February 7, 200620 yr The only thing now is that, like you said Jim, the light-enhancement kills some autogen. But the light becomes so much better, so it's a really tough choice ...Eagle
February 7, 200620 yr Looking good now! Yep, it's a balancing act between enhanced night lighting and autogen. Lately I've started turning off the lights when I know I'm going to be flying in the daylight. Jim
February 7, 200620 yr Me to :)Maybe off topic, but I just finnished a flight, and made some pretty cool screenshots. Wanna see?http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...25613&mode=full
