Unable to display dep/arr data on FMC in the Queen

Recommended Posts

Unable to display dep/arr data (SIDS,STARS,TRANS) on the FMC with regard to Canadian airports, specifically CYVR, CYYJ and CYYC. Works fine in other PMDG craft (737NGX and 777). Anyone shed any light on this matter? Thanks for any help!

Hi Joe,

Try deleting ARPT_RWY.dat found in FSX (or P3D)\PMDG\NAVDATA .  It's a file generated by the 747 and 777 and will rebuild on reload of either aircraft.

If that doesn't work, please report whether it is really only Canadian airports or all airports, and how you enter your flight plan, and departure and arrival information.  Also please verify that it is working in the 777 for the same airports and flight plan.

Mike

Hi Mike,

Did what you suggested and re-downloaded Navigraph data. All is fine now. I'm guessing you were right on with the ARPT_RWY.dat. It was either missing or corrupted.

Thanks so much for you help!

You're welcome!  ARPT_RWY.dat is a well known source of occasional FMC problems.  Though it is in the Navdata folder, it is not part of the Airac, but generated by the 777 or 747 QOT.
