AES FS2004 Not Recognising Airports W10

Featured Replies

I have recently moved over to a W10 (Pro) and reloaded FS9, no cd patch etc etc.

FS9 is running great as a stand alone system.

However I cannot get AES to work at all.  My last installation was version 2.41, and I had over 30 activated airports.

I updated to W10 and then AES 2.45 and most of my airports are not recognised.

I know AES uses the scenery.cfg file, so I checked that and noticed that the scenerys were not running in sequence and the layers were not matching.  Never had that before, so sorted that with FSM tool.

But AES just does not want to recognise my airports.

Tried Aerosoft airport, freeware airports, other payware and most do not work. I did get Aerosoft BIKF to work.

UAC off, everything run as administrator.

Anyone able to offer help as at this rate my new rig has been a waste of money.

Regards

Simon
