Pushback Vehicle

Featured Replies

Is it possible to add a working pushback vehicle to the PMDG 737-700? I know I could add a cosmetic pushback vehicle via RWY 12, but can you add a working vehicle similar to the one on the new POSKY airplanes?

That vehicle is part of the aircraft model itself, my friend.

Hmmm.... but how about this one:Is it somehow possible to replace the repulsive pink line with a picture of a follow-me vehicle?http://www.fspassengers.com/images/banner/sig/sdc8.jpg

All things are possible in theory, anyway. Lago had a fully functional pushback truck in 2002, but they never updated it for FS9.There have also been one or two working examples of follow-me cars which have been part of airport scenery. Seem to remember, one was freeware Munich, tho' I'm ashamed to say, I cannot recall the author's name.Bud

The old FS2000 versions of the German Airports seceneries had follow me trucks at certain airports, but in each case they would take you only to certain gates. None of these worked with the ATC system MS implemented starting in FS2002. Why LAGO's pushback truck was not updated for FS9 is beyond me. It was my favorite product of theirs.

I have Oliver's LEPA and EDD...something. That's not what I had on mind - that's too elaborate and - most of all - scenery dependant! My idea is very simple - a simple 2D picture of a follow-me car that would always keep its distance before the plane (allways facing it), thus replacing the pink line.-"simple" .bmp replacement!???http://www.fspassengers.com/images/banner/sig/sdc8.jpg
