August 29, 20178 yr Folks, I'm curious if there is a fairly accurate way to quantify performance in terms of loading speed and FPS based on hardware. For example, lets say the base-line system is: P3D V4 running on Windows 10 How much of an impact in terms of performance (FPS) would one see from say a GTX1070 to a 1080ti --- Further, what is the rule of thumb on FPS increase per every MHz over a base clock of 4.2GHz on a 6700K, or 4.5MHz on a 7700K. How much gain is say an m2 or PCI based SSD over a SATA based SSD? What about DDR memory? My apologies if this has been addressed in a previous thread someplace, I tried looking for it, but kept getting a search error.
