The developer of "World Traffic for X-Plane" announced last night the new features of the pending version 3.0 release (see the announcement here  https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/128621-world-traffic-30-features/&tab=comments#comment-1236156 ) .  At the bottom of the announcement he mentioned changes planned for the 3.1 release:

The Pilot2ATC interface should be done soon but won't be in 3.0.

 

Wow!!!  I am not sure how far away this is or what level of integration with Pilot2ATC it will have but it could signal a new sense of immersion for flight sim pilots.  I am looking forward to more details from the developers as they get closer to a release.
