A new file upload (Fort Benning) to the library today brought me to the question if it would be possible to simulate parachute jumping in FS, that is in the first person. I would like to have the opportunity to walk (with Active Camera) to the cabin of a plane and then jump out the door, experiencing what I never will in real life. With my trackir I would have a maximum field of view around me, but a few simple handles to steer the parachute would be enough to slowly circle around, to a comparable effect. Probably you would need interaction between two aircraft, the plane itself and then a loadover to the parachute. No idea if this could be done, or if it is already done.Herrie

While not perfect I have done it. There are a couple of parachutes for FS9 and FS2002 that work fine.
