TOGA quick key and Annunc. Lady

Featured Replies

Is there a way in MSFX to make a quick key for the TOGA buttons on the throttle quadrant or an easier way to press them other than panning the window and clicking them with the mouse?

Also... could someone please please please tell me how to silence the lady computer who announces the T/O runway, landing way all the time, etc.  Thanks

Yes, if you read the intro manual, it'll tell you how to do both of these things. The first thing involves setting a key command via the FMC, and the second involves making changes to the aircraft equipment settings, again, via the FMC. The system you've just described is the RAAS. I don't have the plane or the intro manual in front of me right now, so I couldn't tell you the exact steps, but the intro manual will tell you how to do these things.

Do keep in mind, though, that if you're using an add-on livery, it is possible that RAAS is enabled because that particular airline uses it for their planes. Whether you choose to maintain realism or not with regards to that is entirely up to you, but just thought I would throw that out there.
