ActiveSky 6 and winds

Featured Replies

I like the ActiveSky clouds but as I am a novice flight simmer I like to fly without winds... Because when I now taking off, the plane is blowing hard to the left so it's almost impossible to take off normally.I've changed some options of ActiveSky but they don't have the desired effect: I've enabled Limited Surface Wind Speed and set Surface Wind Limit to 0 kts. But I'm still blown off the runway :(So what do I have to do to have the clouds of ActiveSky but not the winds?

Hi,What are the winds like? What plane(s)?If you use FS04 weather does this happen? What are your realism settings? What airports? I ask this because there has been a change in some data formats in Europe and we are working on a Service Release to fix this. A few days ago we had winds of over 900 MPH because of this!!Next time feel free to post in our forum a bit down the page. We like to keep our support questions out of the General Forum!Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter

LoL. 900mph wind. If you fly into the wind, you can even go backwards with a positive climb.
