October 20, 20178 yr Hi all, I have verified this finding, in both v4 and v4.1 and I would like to hear your experience. So, even without using Dynamic Lights (means the Dynamic Lights option is turned off in P3D menu), whenever I turn on my landing lights (ie. prior to takeoff), I observe a clear fps drop. The performance impact is so high I have to turn the landing lights off to be able to take-off without stutters. I was aware the dynamic lights could create that problem, but why I see this effect with no dynamic lights been enabled? I have observed that issue with the PMDG aircraft and Aerosoft CRJ but probably happens to the other add-on planes too. The landing lights on these aircraft are not displayed in the night, if the dynamic lighting is not enabled. So, what I describe happens without any landing light shown. There is no illumination from the landing lights when the DL option is off however the fps drop is there. It seems to me a performance intensive mechanism is enabled even with DL turned off. Does anyone else experiences this problem?
