March 31, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hey everyone:I am trying to program my Ch flightsim yoke and I am wondering what the assignment is in FS for Reverse Thrust. Is that even the correct term for it? For example a 737 will land and the pilot always kicks in the engine reverse. I feel stupid asking this, but I see nowhere in FS under the control assignment area that states "reverse thrust", so I am missing something or that is not even the correct term. Thanks so much in advance.Tim :) Tim FuchsManaging PartnerREX SIMULATIONS website: www.rexsimulations.comsupport: www.rexaxis.com
March 31, 200620 yr After bringing the throttle to idle, pressing the F2 key will move the throttle back further to activate the thrust reversers. I would recommend the registered version of FSUIPC which will allow you to calibrate your lever with a thrust reverser zone.Bud
March 31, 200620 yr Tim,I am using a CH Products Flight Sim Yoke (USB) and I have button 9 assigned to the F2 key (Throttle dectrease quickly) with the small slider set all the way to the right ao I only have to press it once to get full reverse thrust. I have button 10 assigned to Parking brake which allows fast stopping when landed. Of course I always arm the spoilers before landing.Hope this helps,
