Center of gravity and add on aircraft problems

Featured Replies

I've noticed that several of my add on aircraft (both pay nd freeware) have their center of gravity someplace that makes it impossible to fly the aircraft. For example, one of my Airbus add ons has the center of gravity in the nose of the plane and no matter how I change the fuel and payload, it doesn't move. I would like to know if I can make changes in the aircraft.cfg to solve this problem. I've tried looking at previous posts on this issue but I can't seem to find a good answer. Also, I have tried changing the weight and balance in the cfg file but it doesn't seem to do anything. It seems that there are so many aircraft out there that have this problem does anyone know why? It's a little strange that I've encountered the problem so many times. Is it possible that there is something wrong with my installation of FS9 that is causing the problem? I find it hard to believe that all of these developers are releasing unflyable aircraft.

I've had that problem too. I forget which craft but I just quit flying them.JimCYWG
