Networking

Have read manual and its a little disconcerting...Could someone walk me thru this..

1-what belongs on the simulator machine (server)

2-what belongs on the client

what is the order of starting it up and does it create firewall rules or do you add it to simconnect xml etc.

I think in the old days, you had to run fsx on both machines? no longer needed now? have p3dv4.1
