Starting yesterday, I had my 1st. Crash to Desktop in many, many months. Today, I had another. Usually, I'm flying for at least 1 hour or longer when it happens. Is this the "dreaded change of Season" CTD or could it be something else? Of course, I've added planes, added scenery, installed Bev Spring, and tweaked here and there, but I can't imagine what could be causing it. Does the Seasonal CTD still exist?

The seasonal CTD was fixed with FS9.1 patched. The broader picture is how you manage AFCAD and other texture based addons, particularly older freeware addons. In the past week there have been 2 or 3 other CTD threads on this forum with long winded answers to your questions. Just do a search on CTD's, you'll find literal dozens of threads on the matter including a recent nifty free FS9 manager program that actually helps to diagnose such problem. It would help to be more specific about what error messages you get as there is at least one other crash problem not related to scenery issues. Otherwise, complete true CTD's without microsoft error boxes are scenery related until found otherwise. Randy Jura, KPDX

Last thing I installed was Fort Myers, FLA. scenery. I'll deactivate it and see if that makes a difference. The only 2 Scenery insertions were that and Bev Spring.Thanks for pointing me in a direction.

Hmmmm.........deactivating a scenery may or may not fix the problem. If you have a duplicate AFCAD for KRSW in the scnenery folder of the Addon folder under your FS9 root directory, FS9 may still consider that a no-no. The only Ft.Meyers reference I have is from Ultimate Traffic and if you don't use that addon, you're not likely to be duplicated. Same goes for Bev.Springs and Ultimate Traffic. Also, if you've an KRSW or Bev.Springs AFCAD buried in some other folder that's accessible to FS9, that's another no-no..... it's just one bear trap after another !Randy Jura, KPDX

Be sure that you have the latest version of UT USA / CANADA / ALASKA installed if you use that add-on. They fixed fall and spring CTD's in the most recent versions.Prior to upgrading to the latest download version from Flight 1, I was getting the seasonal CTD's, even with the FS9.1 patch installed.Scott
