Southwest Turnaround | First MAX to visit the Bahamas | N8710M

Recommended Posts

November 8th, 2017.
Although the weather conditions didn't really work in my favor, it was still a day to remember as Southwest blessed us with a  Boeing 737 MAX 8 visit. I assume that it was an international proving run. This plane is really interesting to look at; From its landing LED lights, to its "Advance Technology" winglets, to its CFM Leap (Dreamliner wannabe) engines, all the way to its new tail cone. She was unusually quiet too. You can hear all the other planes through the wind, but not her.

I was expecting Westjet to be the first to bring a MAX since we usually get 737-700s from Southwest.
I also incorporated the "Next Gen" into this video so you can see how they differ.
