Featured Replies

even when i press Q to turn sounds off, it makes a static-ish sound that changes in pitch depending on my FPS. I use headphones that connect to a front port on my computer that connects to the sound card. thanks for any help

You can eliminate it or help reduce the "static" by opening up your volume/mixer control panel and muting any uneeded channels that YOU dont use like SPDIF/MIDI/Line-in etc and then also turn all other settings down to 7/8 or 3/4 of max such as main volume/wave/headphones.You can probably isolate it to just one of the channels by listening and muting one at a time.
