Pacific Coast Air Museum flight sim

Featured Replies

Yesterday I went to the Pacific Coast Air Museum in Santa Rosa, California, and flew a P-51 in their flight sim. While setting up the sim I remember seeing DCS World at the bottom of one view, so that's why I'm posting here. They use a 3-D headset which gives a very realistic view. I'm a pilot (general aviation) and at first found the P-51 to be quite difficult to maneuver without overcontrolling, but I got better after a while. The instructor set up a flight in Las Vegas with a low-level route marked by virtual "boxes" appearing which you flew through (or attempted to). I found it very challenging and will definitely go back for more. They said they had $18,000 invested in the sim. Is anyone familiar with their setup?
