April 10, 200620 yr Hello folks, for ages, I've been experimenting with 'what type of scenery to put where' in the scenery.cfg. I hope some experts here can help me out on this issue. This is the situation. I have five types of add-on scenery:1. Airport2. Mesh3. Landclass4. AFCAD5. Default FS2004 'Aerial Photos'let me first explain the last two. with this issue I consider AFCADs to be scenery because they have to be added to the scenery.cfg. also, I think the default Aerial Photos play a big role in the layering situation. A while ago, I had Aerosoft's Manhattan installed, but there was some elevation problem since all the harbor docks were laying on dry land. when I put the 'New York Aerial Photo' in a higher priority than the Manhattan scenery, this was solved. Now my question is this. if I have four directories in my 'addon scenery' folder: an airport folder, a folder with landclass files, a folder with mesh, and a folder with AFCADs, what should go where in the scenery.cfg? should I think from-bottom-to-top, meaning I should begin with the Mesh, then the Landclass, then the Airports, and then the AFCADs? or is it exactly the other way around?I hope you guys can shed some light on this...thank you very much in advance!4X-AXG
