FSPainter AI "base" models?

Featured Replies

I am having a very hard time finding the FSPainter "base" or "original" model AI. Many have posted "textures only" repaints to the library stating that the base FSPainter AI models must be installed before using the repaints. Can anyone tell me how to find these? I "googled" FSPainter...but no models are available at the site. I never seem to find a "base" model in my AVSIM library searches? Thanks

all the FSP base models are here on AVSIM. Have you tried the search feature? I put "FSP" into the search, and all the models showed up, or the repainters tell you which model to download in their description. For example, the first hit tells you to download this file: fsp777v3_050701.zip it's the 777 version 3 model...right here on Avsimi have downloaded all the fsp models from here-fz

I had the same problem. It's a bit disorganised with some being included with repaints some not, different versions etc etc. but one day I discoverd a pack by Frank Bass in which I think he has collected almost all FSP models into one download. Here's the name of the very useful file: 'fsp_airbus_paintkits.zip' It's called a paint kit pack but it contains all the relevant files that go to make up the aircraft. It can be found here on Avsim. I should add that it only contains the Airbusses, and not the FSP B777 version 3 models which are easy to find. Another point is that most people are using the EVAI A320 and A321 models now as they are superior in the frame rate hit dept.
