Black Screen after Load then CTD or White Screen

I am noticing something I have not seen before - after loading a saved flight, the screen goes black and then sometimes it CTD and I have to start all over. Other times it will recover from the black screen but goes white and takes probably 20 seconds to load the aircraft.

Any thoughts for me on this issue?
