FS2004 AI amphibious aircraft

Hi,I would like to know if AI amphibious planes exist for FS2004. If they do, where can I find them and how do I make them land and takeoff in water? I am generally familiar with TTools and AFCAD by Lee Swordy.Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks.Tom

Huh, I've never thought to try it. You could use the default C208 amphibian to see if it works, there are lots of water airports included in FS9. You would likely need to define parking to those airports. I wonder if that works in AFCAD (parking at a dock, for example)? Sounds like a fun project. R-

AI seaplanes can be done, but it's complicated. Truly amphibious AI aircraft that land on water and land isn't possible.Look for AI_float.zip in the library for a "starter kit."

For AI aircraft to land on water - their contact points have to be set as floats. For AI aircraft to land on hard or soft surfaces - their contact points have to be set as wheels or skids.You cannot have both setups in the same aircraft.cfg file - so you can only have water to water and land to land AI flights.

With GA-Traffic, you could have it set up several or many GA floats as AI Traffic. There is a setting which specifies the type...
