Flightbeam Airports and Daytime IFR

Featured Replies

Has anybody noticed that in daytime IFR (or IMC) conditions the airport lighting for Flightbeam's HD airports (KPHX, KDEN, KIAD, KSFO) is not on? It makes shooting approaches to minimums very difficult. I have posted this issue on the FB support page (in this case for KDEN) with the following response from Mir: "There is daytime IFR lights in KMSP, so this is something I've done before. So the answer is yes, this can be done for KDEN. However, since KDEN just got a substantial update, this won't happen anytime soon." I take the implication that the other 3 airports listed will not be fixed since they all had recent updates.

Anybody have any suggestions as to how to fix this problem? For me, this really ruins the immersion aspect of P3D.

Many thanks,

P.

Unfortunately not. I did ask the question on Flightbeam's support forum and basically got told to get lost. It seems to me that this should be an easy option but perhaps I am missing something. It does destroy the immersion factor.
