Airline list on Wikipedia, great for AI.

Featured Replies

This is a list of airlines from almost every country in the world. Obviously, its not the most complete list, but it is a good starting point for anyone wishing to find airlines to add as AI for flight simulator. Quite uselful.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airlinesRight, I have alot of work to do!!!Rojanwww.cessnasim.blogspot.com

Yes I agree. Have used it when The airlinecodes website ain't workin'. And now it's often my first port of call cos airlinecodes has some gaps too.

Agreed here too.I'm in the long process of adding tonnes of AI traffic and Wikipedia is superb. Just search for an airline to get all the codes, fleet details and current destinations. Airports have codes and map references too.Excellent resource.

Yeah it is great and very informative. I didn't know about the airport codes and map references will have to take a look. I found it incredible when using it yesterday. Air Wales our country's only but now sadly defunct airline ceased operations in April. Wikipedia not only wrote in depth about it, but also said which routes had been taken over by various airlines and what aircraft they are using to fly them! Cool.Rhydianwww.cessnasim.blogspot.com

Shame to hear about Air wales:( Didn't know that. It continues, however, in my FSworld.

They also have a list of airlines no longer in buisness for those who wan't to keep these alive in our flight sims, even if sacrificing absolute realism.Regards, Carlos
