Another MyTraffic question. Sorry :(

Featured Replies

I have read countless threads on how to install MyTraffic 6a into P3Dv4. I opted for using the add-on.xml file, and removed the FS9 models without radio settings with SimLauncherX. All is good in that respect.

There is plenty of aircraft on the ground in gates. Even smaller GA airports have planes on the ground. My issue is I hardly have any traffic moving around in major airports.

I can leave the simulation running for a while waiting for some aircraft to begin taxiing, taking off or land, but barely, and I mean barely anything.

Again, I have searched and ready many threads, just have not been able to search and find for the right fix.  Any ideas?

 add-on-xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="AddOnXml" version="4,0" id="add-on">
  <AddOn.Name>MyTraffic6</AddOn.Name>
  <AddOn.Description>MyTraffic6</AddOn.Description>
  <AddOn.Component>
    <Category>SimObjects</Category>
    <Path>G:\FS_Addons\MyTraffic Professional\MyTraffic\Aircraft</Path>
  </AddOn.Component>
  <AddOn.Component>
    <Category>Scenery</Category>
    <Path>G:\FS_Addons\MyTraffic Professional\MyTraffic</Path>
    <Name>MyTrafficScenery</Name>
    <Layer>114</Layer>
  </AddOn.Component>
</SimBase.Document>

p.s. My P3D traffic settings.

As an experiment, try setting "Airport Vehicle Desity" to "None".

Not sure if this will help, but IIRC from before P3D, then if this value is greater than "None", every AI aircraft calls the fuel truck on the airport before they start taxiing. And there is only one truck, so that takes quite a while.

Best regards

Oliver. Thanks for the tip. Worked out great. Within minutes I had several aircraft taxiing to the active runways and landing.
