Has anyone mastered the method of installation and/or activation of Sids and Stars in the CDU for this bird?All instructions and implications in the manual are that this should be available, but I read "None" for their presence everywhere I have tried.I have also tried importing (copying) data from NavData (PMDG and LDS767 formats) but obviously have not found the proper method and procedure yet. If I understood the manual, Uploaded PMDG Sids and Stars might have worked, but I still have not discovered the proper way to implement them.Any help on this item sure would be appreciated.RTH

Thanks for the reply Joe:So I don't mislead you or anyone else, I don't have the PMDG737. There was some reference in the iFly manual that led me to speculate that possibly the PMDG or PIC767 uploaded Sids and Stars at the NAVData site might be compatible and work if copied for iFly purposes.I see exactly what you mean that the format thereof, or for anything else I have looked at does not jive with the samples in the folder for the iFly bird. The iFly samples do work like a charm.I also have looked at the "Procedures Introduction" in the manual directory to which you refer. I certainly make no claim to being a data programmer and may be in over my head, but if I interpret the procedures correctly, the only way Sids or Stars can be created is to originate your on with a new composition of text which seems a bit lengthy, complex and prohibitive to me. I will study the procedure more carefully and see if I am making a mountain out of a mole hill.Again, thanks for your help.RTH

Well, re-looking at things...the data that is in PMDG/PIC format is for the navaids/fixes/routes. They obviously used their own format for the SID/STAR/APP. And I agree with you...might take some work to get some.On a side note...I have half of a paintkit done for it. Joe
