Mouse clicks in virtual cockpit - some not working

Featured Replies

Hi

I recently bought Flightsimlabs A320-X (and also downloaded Spotlights) and already have Chaseplane which is an excellent product.

However when in virtual cockpit mode in the A320-X, certain mouse clicks just do not work e.g. selecting Captain's PFD and ND brightness - I have to go to 2D panel mode to change these then go back to the virtual cockpit.  Another example - the Rose selector (ILS/VOR/ARC/NAV/PLAN) nor the Speed selector work in virtual cockpit mode.

Very frustrating having to switch between virtual cockpit and 2D panels to change things.

Please can someone suggest what might be wrong and/or what I can try?  e.g. non-beta version of Chaseplane? Reinstall Chaseplane? etc.  I just do not understand why I cannot select / click certain Flightsimlabs A320-X buttons/switches.

Thanks in advance.

I think I just resolved this.

Doing a search of the Chaseplane forums, I found a post called 'FSLabs A320 mouse click problem'.

My Captain eyepoint in virtual cockpit mode using Chaseplane was slightly too far back, which causes the mouse to quit working I guess on certain buttons/switches.

I changed the viewpoint to be slightly further forward and bingo – the PFD and ND brightness, Rose selector etc are selectable/changeable.
