NVIDIA DLSS DLL 3.8.10 released
I am glad I searched on the DLSS topic as I have just updated my DLSS files to the latest and could not see 'Ultra Quality' anymore. I can only select 'Quality' which is very good. Does anyone know why 'Ultra Quality' was removed and/or if it is coming back? I am not sure of the main difference between 'Ultra Quality' and 'Quality' if someone can please advise?

Simple GSX configuration and 'how to' guide?
Hi flyers I hope this is the correct forum to post this query in. I did have a scroll through various forum headers and did a search. I bought GSX for MSFS 2020 a while ago. I installed it but have never configured it nor used it yet. I mainly fly the PMDG 737-800 and Fenix A320 and will possibly purchase the iFly 737-Max. I have briefly looked at the supplied pdf guide. Please advise me based on your GSX experience: a) After installation, what essential configuration/set up do I need to do in the GSX settings and options? b) How do I use the essential GSX services within PMDG 737-800, Fenix A320 and iFly 737-Max or e.g. do I just use the inbuilt tablet type features for these aircraft? If you have any good advice and/or recent youtube videos to recommend I would appreciate it.

Best yoke for the 737 for FS2020?
Thank you all for your feedback so far. The Yoko Yoke and Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke certainly look very high quality and would definitely enhance the 'immersion' experience quite considerably. The Thrustmaster also looks very good from a price/performance point of view.

Best yoke for the 737 for FS2020?
Hi flyers I am thinking of buying a yoke for the 737 for FS2020 and am aware of various yokes e.g. Thrustmaster, Virpil, Honeycomb, CH Products. I plan to use the yoke primarily for PMDG 737 and the upcoming iFly 737 Max and am interested in your opinions. Based on your yoke purchase and experience, please let me know: a) the yoke that gives the 'best' value in terms of price and performance? b) the yoke that gives the most realistic (high quality) performance regardless of the price?

New MSFS 2024 Trailer - Release date: 11/19/2024
The trailer looks fantastic. Hoping that existing FS2020 owners of various add-ons like myself will receive a discount for the FS2024 version of those add-ons. Does anyone know if Microsoft will make their weather API available/'unlocked' in FS2024 so that e.g. Hifi or Rex or other third party developers can use this for their weather add ons in a more enhanced way?

Black Square Piston and Turbine Duke vs COWS DA-42
Hi flyers I have seen a number of youtube videos regarding both the above excellent aircraft add on products for FS2020. I am interested to hear owners' experiences of these products in terms of which you think is 'better' specifically in terms of: a) Cockpit visuals b) General flight dynamics and handling 'realism' c) Pure IFR procedures e.g. SIDs, STARs and ILS approaches. I frame my question above in terms of I only intend to purchase 1 of these multi engine products.

TAA vs DLSS and best Nvidia control panel settings
Yes I have the Fenix V2. I made a note of the before fps (with 2080 8gb) and after fps (with 4070 Super 12gb) based on a circuit at Flightbeam's Auckland NZAA Runway 23L in the Fenix V2 with exactly the same settings i.e. graphics, weather, time etc. Here are the results I recorded. Lined up and waiting - before 27 after 57 c. 111% Taking off - before 25 after 37 c. 48% Crosswind - before 34 after 68 c. 100% (mainly ocean) Downwind - before 43 after 64 c. 49% Base - before 39 after 52 c. 33% Final - before 37 after 56 c. 51% I am extremely pleased with this upgrade and chose the 4070 Super (vs 4070 Ti Super and 4080 Super) after seeing numerous reviews on youtube and selecting the 'price/performance' point that was affordable for me and generated an acceptable/large enough fps gain over my old 2080. I am looking forward to the new Nvidia 50xx graphics cards to see what they bring to FS2020 and FS2024.

TAA vs DLSS and best Nvidia control panel settings
Thank you all for your very helpful and informative feedback regarding this topic. I have certainly learnt a lot from this forum thread. I will try some of your suggestions on my recently upgraded system and also reply soon to the question raised earlier re: difference in fps I have noticed between my old 2080 8gb i7-8700k system and recently upgraded 4070 super 12gb Ryzen 7 7800 X3D system.

TAA vs DLSS and best Nvidia control panel settings
Hi flyers I recently upgraded from an MSI 2080 8gb Gaming Trio X to a Gigabyte 4070 12gb Super Gaming OC and am very pleased with the upgrade performance. For system context, my other recently upgraded system spec is an MSI X670E Tomahawk Wifi motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 7800 X3D processor and Gskill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5 6000 32gb ram. I use a Dell 2560 x 1440 Gsync display with 144Hz refresh. I have recently realised that TAA gives sharper cockpit displays vs DLSS slightly blurred cockpit displays etc even when set to quality. I have included 4 x images below which are my current Nvidia control panel settings plus some Nvidia inspector setttings. Just as a note - I changed from DLSS quality setting to TAA in the FS2020 sim graphics options to test the sharper cockpit displays. Please advise me based on your experience with TAA, DLSS and Nvidia control panel and Nvidia inspector - for good FPS and sharpness, are my settings below 'good enough'? Or can you recommend any changes/tweaks which will give me higher FPS and better sharpness etc?
