P3Dv4.2 VR Single Pass Rendering Issue Identified by LM

Featured Replies

Here’s the recent  reply from one of the LM developers acknowledging the Single Pass Rendering issue and a solution they have found but not yet deployed. Hopefully they will add VR capabilities like zoom and the ability to open and interact with pop ups soon, we have been appealing to them for these capabilities that FlyInside already has.

Hey All,

Thank you for all the information, we narrowed down the issue to an instancing problem with single pass rendering. We have corrected this issue inside internal builds.

For the time being if you are experiencing to many issues with single pass use the stereo mode. We are still actively working to improve single pass rendering along with other rendering optimizations for VR. Thank you again for your patience and feedback.

Thanks
-Kevin.

So bottom line if you have issues with SPR in v4.2 use Stereo mode until they release a hotfix or new revision.
