AI QUESTION

Featured Replies

Hello all.Been tinkering with setting up my AI for the past...well, 12 hours.I even got up 6.30 this morning and continued the work.Anyway I would very much like to increase the takeoff distance on my AI 747's(Aardvark)How to do this? Thanks. Felix

Aircraft used as AI fly "empty" no fuel or pax or cargo weight. But that's a separate long discussion. You can either add empty weight to the aircraft.cfg or lower the engine thrust.Of course this will almost certainly make the aircraft too heavy or underpowered for landing and it will fall short of the runway. An alternate idea is to try Jan Martin's FD sets for that aircraft - http://de.geocities.com/janswebsites/flightsim/index.htmlHe has the takeoff runs close to 7.000 ft.

Thanks for your input. Will try it out.
