Slow text known issue - is there a work around?

New to RC4 - I would like to have both audio and visual cues (text instructions on screen) as to what RC4 is saying. However I'm having the issue others are reporting with the long delay in messages. 

 

I've seen people being told to turn text off, but ideally I'm looking for a way if it's possible to have both the audio and text working without the delays. Am I fighting a losing battle of is there a way to make it work?

By text do you mean the RC menu? If so consider WideFS by Pete Dowson. It emulates FSX/P3D on a network computer and that will allow you to run RC4 and ShowText (free on Pete's forum) which shows the RC menu.

I've had that arrangement for years.
