Amphib gear down.

Featured Replies

Hi virtual PICs. I did a key word search and did not find an answer. With some addon or FS stock planes,I see the following problem: Using FS2004 menus to **go to a water airport**with an amphibian, it shows up gear-down in the water. And some AI planes do the same. Is there a sure way or a cure, to make anamphibian, appear in WATER, gears UP ? And that, weather WE fly it, or AI flies it ? Thanks.

There is no way to change this that I'm aware of. Truly amphibious AI aircraft are not possible in FS9, that is, it's not possible to make a single AI plane that will land on water or land as needed. AI amphibs which are supposed to operate in water must have their model files depict them gear up.
