May 15, 20188 yr Hi all still occasionally get the issue with the panel switches randomly not working when in VC view in the PMDG 737 NGX, when this happens, you just can't control anything in the aircraft and also you are not able to move the camera around in the spot you're in unless it's the outside view, it just freezes almost everything but the sim is still running. Looking around on forums, other users have had similar issues. Not sure why it does this occasionally, it's only with the NGX plane. thanks Edited May 15, 20188 yr by tonyleo

The game runs pretty good and high frame rates, even with high settings. Thanks Edited May 16, 20188 yr by tonyleo
May 16, 20188 yr I suspect background processes are getting in the way of available CPU management - causing overloads of cycle time and freezes - your system specs are a little under par to run FSX Steam wonderfully, but, don't despair - you just need to install it perfectly and configure Windows eccentrically to maximise its resources towards FSX. If it's a new PC - bin Windows and start again: See here: http://www.simforums.com/forums/the-fsx-computer-system-the-bible-by-nickn_topic46211.html It's old (2015) but the hardware isn't relevant - the software is. Read all of it and do it. It's an educational trip in to flight simulators anyway - so you'll learn. Then you'll get the NGX running on your specs just fine. Best,
