GE Pro made screens un-seeable

Featured Replies

I don't want to throw cold water on what I trusted (and still hope) is a bug free great addition to simulator. But GE Pro has given me a problem that has made the game completely inoperable. After installation a solid light blue screen covers everything, the aircraft selection pictures, and the entire screen when the game opens. Can't see a thing except a quarter inch square in the upper left. Every window opens the same whether I start the simulator from inside GE Pro or on its own. Most discouraging!I had Ground envirement and bought and upgraded today to the Pro. I have tried reverting to the default textures, without a difference. It seems that my simulator has been corrupted. What do I do, uninstall? The program is unseeable. I am afraid my much expanded simulator has been ruined.I have Flight 1 UT USA and Canada, Flight Enviroment, Ground Enviroment, Genesis worldwide, UT Traffic, and too many other addons to mention. I run a fairly fast machine with lots of ram and a great video card. Is this program the one that ruins all my work and investment? I sure hope not.Any help to fix this, or any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have not even been able to find a strictly GE pro forum to seek help. I am trying to remain positive here, but after wasting the better part of a day downloading and building sets to have this happen makes me wary of the product. I'd be happy just to restore what I had at this point. What a mess!Thank you in advance.Spirit Flyer

The plot thickens...I did a restart and all is well! Excellent product. Thanks to the developers!SpiritFlyer

Always a good idea to reboot after installing addons. Also, did you remember to defrag? Once the texture sets were created, they REALLY fragmented the hard drive until I ran O & O defrag on them.Allcott
