AIRAC data question

Hi all-

I've tried and am using Pro-ATC which I'm really beginning to like. Anyway, I've imported the latest AIRAC from Navigraph into ProATC.

When flight planning, this data matches Foreflight which I also use. When manually entering the flight plan into the GTN sometimes I get 'waypoint not found' which tells me the data in the GTN is older?

Anyway, I've been unable to find anything on this. However, over at Garmin, they have a subscription service in addition to a one time purchase which I think is a data upgrade? I'm new to all this so I hope what I'm saying here is making some sense.
