PMDG 747 V3 P3D V4.2 Radio Panel greyed out

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was doing the startup checklist for a flight and when I try to tune the radios in for ATIS and VOR information, I cannot move the knobs at all. When I press them, all I hear is a click of the knob moving and nothing else. All the knobs

The radio panel FMC does not work either, nor the any of the switches, including the autobrake switch, the seatbelt and smoking switches, the evacuation test, the aileron and rudder trim and the ATC transponder.

When I put my mouse over them, the hand is greyed out. I do not know what is wrong. Can someone help?

Stefan,

Do you use any 3rd party camera software? What you are describing is like your viewpoint is inside the headrest. Try to move forward and see if this helps.

I use ChasePlane, yes. And I am using a cameraview that is over the radio panel, courtesy of a template I found on ChasePlane.

And yes, the radio panel somehow works when I shift from the template I use. Strange.

Not strange at all. This template apparently is not set correctly. You need to move the viewpoint and save the new template where it works.

I shifted to another template that highlights the radio panel, and it works now. You are correct, it seems the old template was jammed into the ceiling or the headrest and made it broke.

Thanks for the help.
