Boeing 707/E3A-c AWACS Sounds

Featured Replies

Hi,Has anyone got any good recommendations for a good sound set for the captain sim 707.I find their set a Little tame, and too quiet, as I know this bird was around well before the noise abatement society was even born. Thanks,

The Historic Jet Group has a number of different 707 sound files for their excellent freeware 707 jets on their site. I haven't had time to try them yet with their jets or the Captain Sim 707. So if you do use them, post your thoughts back here. The HJG site is at http://www.simviation.com/hjg/If you are a fan of the old jets this is a great site and it has some links to some other great ones. Also Captain Sim has stated that they are going to patch their 707 and they have a "wish list" forum for the 707 patch on their site. You might want to post any specific changes you'd like to see to the sound files (or anything else) there. Captain Sim hasn't been very responsive on patching this aircraft in the past relative to other aircraft and developers, so don't hold your breath or get your hopes up though. Ted
