View for only the HUD symbology?

How do I create a view with just HUD symbology on a black background? An old post talked about using an existing HUD gauge, but what does that entail? Surely there is an easy way to do this, I assume.

The below is some further explanation of how I have everything displayed and what I want to accomplish. Hopefully, someone can lead me in the right direction 🙂
