ai traffic engine sound in my virtual cockpit too loud

Hello all,

I'm hurting here. while in my virtual cockpit mode, the engine sounds of ai traffic when they are within the area is ridiculously loud to the point it drowns out my virtual cockpit sounds. This noise level isnt the same once I leave the virtual cockpit. When looking around, the only suggestion was to adjust the environment volume slider but that didnt help. Does anyone have or know a fix for this? Thanks in advance
