August 21, 20187 yr Hi, as we all know, SSDs last over time, but when their life comes to an end, a question arises: how can only the operating system be cloned from one ssd to another? Between 2 ssd with sata attack is easy but with 2 ssd nvme / m2 I do not know how to do. Any advice is accepted.
August 22, 20187 yr You'll most likely have updated your system long before the SSD reaches the end of its life so I wouldn't worry about it. That said, if you only want to transfer the OS it's probably better to just install Windows fresh on the new drive using the most recent installation ISO available from Microsoft.
