August 26, 20187 yr When I flew a real non stop British Airways Flight from Phoenix to Heathrow and back last year I felt the strange feeling one has when one is suspended in space for a long time on such a non stop flight. I have crossed the Atlantic eight times over the past 40 years and crossed the Pacific once, but I have never taken a really long haul flight like one from Perth to Heathrow, it would be grueling for sure, unless I were in an aisle seat but I hate being unable to look out the aircraft. On my BA flight I flew Premium Economy just so I could have more width and just one person to cross over from my window seat to the aisle where I could stretch my legs or visit the powder room. My BA flight was a majestic 747-400, the largest aircraft to visit Sky Harbor airport in Phoenix. When I took off to go towards Britain I imagined my fellow Phoenicians down there looking up at my majestic ride knowing it was going a third of the way around the world. John
